Kids - Get Active... Our Mission

To help provide kids with a safe, productive and functional fitness program that can be performed in the classroom (or in the living room, or the basement, or the backyard...!) with minimal cost or equipment. Good exercise helps improve sleep, digestion, balance, and has been proven to improve test scores!

The exercises help to develop balance, muscle strength, endurance, and overall fitness using regular household or classroom objects (like books, water jugs, cans of soup, backpacks, etc). The exercises are fun, and the workout is non-competitive. It is not about who is best or who is not, it is about teaching the muscles how to WORK BETTER! The result is muscles that are more capable of meeting the needs of active kids, and preparing them for a lifetime of fun and active things to do!

This helps provide a FREE program designed by professional trainers that know how to work with kids, that can be performed in 5-10 minutes, with little experience required. The exercises are easy to learn, and develop all the major joint actions and help improve flexibility as well!

Our goal is to help as many kids as we can, (using funding from the Brooksie Way Mini Grant Program and workouts developed by Houston Fitness Consultants) at ZERO to minimal cost to the schools, the teachers, and the families.
